Pipe Yard Manager

Responsibilities
o Supervise and coordinate unloading and stocking of inbound shipments and the picking and shipping of outbound orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness with both product and paperwork
o Maintain accurate inventory records of all goods stored in the yard
o Ensure pipe yard space is used effectively and kept clean and orderly
o Provide training to new hires and coaching to existing employees as needed
o Develop and maintain a maintenance schedule for all yard equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition and available when needed.
o Supervise yard workers and ensure they comply with safety procedures
o Ensure equipment and materials are properly maintained and secure
Requirements
o High school diploma or equivalent
o 3-5+ years of pipe yard management or supervisory experience
o Excellent communication and leadership skills
o Ability to multitask and work under pressure
o Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required
o Proficient in MS Office and inventory management systems
o Hands on knowledge of minor repairs and maintenance of light and heavy equipment
