Shipping & Receiving Yard Supervisor

Baytown, TX- 65K+

·  Planning each day’s activities, discussing the plan with team members, and ensuring that the plan is executed for company Pipe’s Yard function.

·  Planning and controlling daily work schedule for Yard. Controlling manpower and man-hours.

·  Overseeing incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.

·  Scheduling and shipping materials for Customer’s releases.

·  Preparing of documents: such as bill of lading, load tallies for trucks, etc.

·  Ensuring that yard inventory is maintained by customer, size, wall thickness, mill manufacture, etc.

·  To ensure that the yard is managed according to Company policy and procedures, make timely decisions, and take corrective action wherever necessary.

·  Daily report of vehicle and yard equipment maintenance is maintained.

·  Other responsibilities related to Yard / Inventory / Shipping / Receiving as assigned by the Reporting Manager.

• Bilingual, English/Spanish highly preferred.
