Dream Accident is a short story about a chemical explosion where Dr. Elizabeth Amato, an ER doctor, gets a second chance at love with an old flame she hasn’t seen since high school. They are able to rekindle their relationship with a fresh start after many years of life and choices. None of us knows how long we have in this life and what really matters is love and relationships. We often get caught up in our careers and other external things which distract us from those relationships. This story is a reminder to all of us how important it is to be with those we care about and to experience life with them.
“This story was written due to a recent chemical explosion three blocks from my home which reminded me that what is important in life are the relationships we create. None of us know how long we have in this life and what really matters is love and relationships with others. We often get caught up in our careers or other external things that take us away from those relationships. This story is a reminder to all of us how important it is to be with those we care about and to experience life with them.”
