QC Supervisor-SPM

To ensure product process the Spiral Mill meet specification and customer requirement. Inspection and testing activities are completed as per requirement on timely manner and ensure safety rules are enforced.

Responsibilities:

1.     Ensure all non-destructive testing machines are in good and operating condition, calibrated as required by specification, utilized as efficiently as possible to meet the target numbers.

2.     Oversee welding inspection, final & stenciling station activities and ensure only accepted product is pass thru the plant and all non-confirming product are quarantine and segregated and stored in isolated area.

3.     Train all employees working under supervision as per procedure for training and competency and evaluate their performance prior to assigning job.

4.     Troubleshoot SAP tracking issue.

5.     Ensure safety of employee working under supervision and report if any near miss, safety incidence and potential hazardous area.

6.     Ensure product is manufacture as per approved MPS & ITP and all record required are submitted to QA.

Ensure consumable and spares are available to perform the work. 

Qualifications:

1.     Fully conversant with operation of NDT equipment.

2.     Knowledge of API 5L, visual inspection, weld defects, ASME sec. V , Sec. IX and ASNT – SNT-TC-1A.

3.     Good knowledge of SAP, Microsoft suit – Word and Excel.

4.     Excellent supervisory skill.

Ability to handle client & Third party inspector, production and logistics, therefore good communication skill is required.

Associate Degree/ Bachelor Degree- 1years of experience in pipe and/or steel industries or fabrication shops.

High School- 3 years of experience in pipe and/or steel industries or fabrication shops.
