Production Supervisor

South Mississippi- $$D.O.E

To ensure all production requirements are completed as required to the customer specification in a timely manner and ensure safety rules are enforced.

Responsibilities:

1.     Ensure all machines are in good operating condition, machines are set up as required by specification and utilized as efficiently as possible to meet the target numbers.

2.     Oversee all production areas to ensure that each machine and product is in compliance with all quality specifications. Also to ensure that each area is producing as efficiently as possible.

3.     Train all employees working under supervision as per procedure for training and competency and evaluate their performance prior to assigning job.

4.     Troubleshoot any issues with machinery.

5.     Ensure safety of employee working under supervision and report if any near miss, safety incidence and potential hazardous area.

6.     Ensure product is manufacture as per approved MPS & ITP and all record required are submitted to QA.

Ensure consumable and spares are available to perform the work. 

Qualifications:

1.     Ability to multi-task.

2.     Knowledge of machinery that the supervisor is overseeing.

3.     Good knowledge of SAP, Microsoft suit – Word and Excel.

4.     Excellent supervisory skill.

5.     Ability to handle client & Third party inspector, production and logistics, therefore good communication skill is required.

Knowledge of the work flow of the shop floor and ability to react to unforeseen issues before they happen.

2 years of experience in pipe and/or steel industries or fabrication shops.

High School diploma or GED
