QC Supervisor-Coating

South Mississippi- $$D.O.E

To ensure coated product and processes meet specification and customer requirements. Inspection and testing activities are completed as per requirement on timely manner and ensure safety rules are enforced.

Responsibilities:

1.     Ensure all coating testing equipment are in good and operating condition, calibrated as required by specification, utilized as efficiently as possible to meet the target numbers.

2.     Oversee coating inspection activities and ensure only accepted product is pass thru the plant and all non-confirming product are quarantine and segregated and stored in isolated area.

3.     Train all employees working under supervision as per procedure for training and competency and evaluate their performance prior to assigning job.

4.     Troubleshoot SAP tracking issue.

5.     Ensure safety of employee working under supervision and report if any near miss, safety incidence and potential hazardous area.

6.     Ensure product is manufacture as per approved MPS & ITP and all record required are submitted to QA.

Ensure consumable and spares are available to perform the work

Qualifications:

1.     Fully conversant with coating operations.

2.     Knowledge of API 5L, visual inspection, NACE, SSPC, and CSA.

3.     Good knowledge of SAP, Microsoft suit – Word and Excel.

4.     Excellent supervisory skill.

Ability to handle client & Third party inspector, production and logistics, therefore good communication skill is required.

Associate Degree/ Bachelor Degree- 1 years of experience in coating or lining shops.

High School- 3 years of experience in coating or lining shops.
