Plant Manager - Pipe (#26-505)
Location: Northeast Texas
Key Responsibilities
Provide operational leadership across multiple OCTG facilities, including threading, heat treatment, and yard/logistics activities
Create alignment and standardized practices across sites to strengthen safety, quality, delivery, and cost outcomes
Lead, mentor, and develop site leadership teams; reinforce organizational structure and succession planning
Build and manage KPIs and operating rhythms that drive accountability and consistent execution
Own conversion cost performance, including labor, consumables, and utilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence initiatives
Direct capital planning and project execution, including facility upgrades and strategic investments
Improve coordination among production, maintenance, and logistics to maximize throughput and efficiency
Partner with executive leadership to ensure operations support broader business strategy and growth plans
Required Background
15+ years of experience in OCTG, steel tubular, or pipe manufacturing operations
Direct exposure to threading, heat treatment, pipe processing, or related OCTG workflows
Proven leadership within multi‑site or complex manufacturing environments
Strong knowledge of API standards (5CT, 5B, 5L) and customer/audit expectations
Demonstrated success driving operational improvements, cost reductions, and performance consistency
Experience leading large teams and building leadership capability
Solid financial acumen, including P&L responsibility and conversion cost management
Background in CAPEX planning and facility investment initiatives
