The Inside Sales Representative supports day-to-day sales operations by managing customer orders, coordinating logistics, and maintaining accurate data across systems. Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage customer orders from initial quote through final delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Prepare and deliver customer quotes, proposals, and order confirmations with professionalism and attention to detail.

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to align with active and upcoming sales orders.

  • Coordinate deliveries, freight, and shipment schedules with customers and vendors.

  • Maintain accurate customer, pricing, and order data within ERP systems.

  • Communicate effectively with customers to provide support, resolve issues, and build long-term relationships.

  • Collaborate with internal sales teams to identify new business opportunities and support growth initiatives.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Required Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow.

  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.

  • Preferred experience with SAP or other ERP systems.

  • Preferred experience knowledge of steel pipe.
