TESTIMONIALS
“Highly Recommend This Book!”
At some point in everyone’s childhood we were asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” And at that time, we were encouraged to dream big and go for anything. Mary Ann Faremouth’s book brings that limitless mystique back into adulthood for all parties involved the workforce: the employee, employer and recruiter. Even if you are not actively searching or hiring, there is a lot to learn as you read Faremouth’s book. Yes, this book has explicit strategies for recruiters, job seekers and employers, but that’s just the surface content. Mary Ann shares her innovative wisdom by teaching strategy while tapping into the bigger picture - self actualization and human passion in the workplace. I love that this book is written through the lens of understanding human psyche so that both the employer and employee are equally fulfilled in their symbiotic roles. Not only is Faremouth extremely knowledgeable, as you read be prepared to feel inspired by her zest for life and genuine passion to help others find happiness, build a legacy and make the world a better pace.
“I Absolutely Love the Multi-Faceted”
Mary Ann Faremouth is part psychologist, part sociologist, part job coach, and part business woman. I absolutely love the multi-faceted, 360 degree approach to finding the round hole for the round peg. The Faremouth Method is insightful, sophisticated, and inspirational, yet so very easy to apprehend, embrace and adopt. For the employer, she demonstrates an astute awareness of today’s economic and business realities and how they affect personnel matters. For the job seeker, she delivers hope to those who may feel they are limited or defined by their job history - a history that may bear little or no resemblance to their true interests and passions. For the recruiter, she lays out a clear and easy-to-follow roadmap that is fail safe in my opinion.
The book has so many dimensions - flyovers at 30,000 feet to discuss socioeconomic trends and generational differences, for example, and then pounding the pavement with important fundamentals such as listening and interviewing, self-assessment and vocational tests. Effortless flow through the presentation of concepts, case studies, and specific recommendations to the recruiters, job seekers and employers.
Mary Ann's thoughts and ideas are well organized and presented, her writing is clear and concise, and her use of tasty rhetorical devices (“under the hood”, “your attitude determines your altitude”), kept me alert, interested, and amused. I was captivated by her powerful optimism, her compassion, and her dedication to service. It was an honor and joy to read Revolutionary Recruiting.
“A Concise and Practical Approach”
This workbook from Mary Ann Faremouth is the most practical approach I've ever seen to self-discovery and goal-setting, plus practical hands-on methods to get from point A to Point B. While the workbook is geared toward job-seekers, everyone can benefit from this author's simple and easy-to-use guides. From the questions to the pep talks, this book has it all. Rediscover yourself and really be honest with yourself about goals, ambitions, dreams, and wishes. Then take the steps to make them happen! I recommend this highly effective workbook for anyone who is wanting to improve themselves.
“Great Tool for Your Career and Life”
I … engaged with a career consulting firm from Denver CO. The consulting firm cost me $6,700 and didn't provide any results. Mary Ann's book however has provided more value in the first chapter than my entire 12 month engagement with the career consultants.
