Project Engineers - Pumps

Job Description

Responsibilities of the Project Engineer include, but are not limited to:

Review of project proposals, specifications, and inspection reports to determine engineering requirements, feasibility, and procedures for accomplishing each project
Create and or review engineering drawings including general arrangements, fabrication drawings, etc.
Position will share existing engineer department drafting resources
Review specifications of engineered equipment
Manage the project timeline to meet required delivery schedules
Assist project manager with required customer documentation

Qualifications of the Project Engineer include, but are not limited to:

Previous SolidWorks experience and a desire for being hands on
2-5 years of experience with rotating equipment (pumps, mixers, heat exchangers, blowers, compressors) and fabricated pumping systems
Candidate must be computer literate and proficient in Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks
Project Management experience and team work skills
Experience reading pressure and instrumentation diagrams
Must be able to work independently
Well organized and self-motivated
Must have excellent writing and verbal communication and problem solving skills
Must be detail-oriented and able to work well in an engineering environment
Great leadership abilities are essential while at the same time being a team player

Education: Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering degree
