Assistant Project Manager
Channelview, TX
Assistant Project Manager will report directly to the General Manager. Main responsibilities include providing administrative and tactical support to the GM and other departments of the company. Other responsibilities include overseeing and documenting all aspects of specific projects. Ultimately, the Assistant Project Manager will help ensure the scope and direction of each project is on the right track while maintaining profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicate and follow up with clients about specific projects and their goals
Generate invoices for clients based on services rendered and in coordination with the GM
Communicate with Site Supervisors about any delays and other issues that must be communicated to the client or reported to the Operations Manager
Track and directly report project status updates to the General Manager and/or Operations Manager
Organize, file, and maintain all current project documents
Effectively track inventory of consumables and supplies for specific projects
Fact-checking vendor’s bills for specific projects
Correcting and modifying inaccurate files and records Skills
Capable of preserving confidential or sensitive information
Excellent data entry, Microsoft Suite, and CRM software
Self-motivated and self-directed
Team player and able to work well under pressure
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management skills; able to prioritize
Extremely detail oriented Education and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Business or a related field preferred
Minimum two years of proven experience in project management or as an administrative assistant
